When you place an order on our website, you’ll be asked to agree to our terms & conditions, which we’ve tried to put in plain English on this page.

Placing an order
When you come to buy something from us, we’ll need your name, delivery address & payment card number and expiry date. We’ll also need your email address so that we can email you to confirm your order, and your phone number, so that we can reach you if there’s a problem. Unless you say otherwise, we might pass this information to our couriers or other agents but only in case they need to get in touch with you about your order.

After you place an order, we’ll email you to say that we’ve received it. We can then accept your order once we know that:

  • The item you’ve ordered is in stock
  • Your payment has been authorised

Once we’re happy, we’ll dispatch the order & send you an email to let you know. This is when we’ve officially accepted your order & the contract between us has been formed. We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase at any time.

If there are any problems with your order, we’ll email or call you. If we can’t resolve a problem, we won’t process your order. If you’ve already paid for your order, we’ll refund you the full amount as soon as possible.

We’ll take all reasonable care to keep the details of your order and payment secure. However, in the absence of negligence on our part, we can’t be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you give when using our website.

Cancelling an order
You’re entitled to cancel the contract between us within 8 working days of receiving your order. If you want to cancel a contract before we dispatch your order, please email us at info@uniformadditions.com.  If we’ve already dispatched your order, you can return the item to us and we’ll give you a full refund. Please see our delivery and returns page for details.

As a consumer, you’ll always have legal rights in relation to products that are damaged or not as described, & your legal rights are not affected by our terms and conditions. You can find out more about this from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Office.

The information we put on our website
We publish all our prices in pounds sterling inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate. We sell our products subject to their product descriptions and will take all reasonable care to ensure that the product details, descriptions and prices on our website are correct at the time that we put them up there. While we aim to keep our website as accurate as possible, please be aware that the images you see online and in our catalogue are for illustration purposes only. We’ll make every effort to portray the colours precisely, but we can’t guarantee that your computer will display them to exactly reflect the actual colour of the products. We sometimes show our products with other props but, unless specified, these aren’t included in the sale.

Our estimated delivery dates are for guidance only and may change due to unexpected problems. Once our stock arrives at our warehouse, it’s usually another 3 days before we’ve finished booking it in and checking it for quality control.

Our stock of sale items
We keep a very limited stock of sale items & we only update our stock levels once every 24 hours. So there’s a chance that a product may sell out between the time when you place your order & when we try to fulfil it. If this happens, we’ll call or email you within 3 days with an alternative item or to refund your money.

Our promotional offers
You can use published promotional codes & offers when you order online or by phone, but not in conjunction with any other offer. Our promotional codes and offers don’t apply to postage and packaging, gift vouchers or sale items. You can participate in our promotional offers only once per promotion. Our offers are not for resale or publication & only apply to personal orders with all orders being subject to acceptance under these terms and conditions. If we think you’ve ordered promotional items for commercial purposes, we may exclude them from the offer.

We’ll take payment for your order at the point of sale, not point of dispatch. The total cost of your order is the price of the product/s you order plus delivery costs. You’ll confirm that the credit or debit card you’re using is yours. All payment card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If, for any reason, your card issuer doesn’t authorise payment to us, we won’t be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time and to remove or edit any materials or content from it. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We won’t be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this website, whether or not we’ve sold that product.

To be eligible to buy products on this website and lawfully form contracts on this website under English law, you must:

• Register by giving your real name, phone number, email address, payment details and other information we request
• Be over 18 years of age
• Have a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us

By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit or obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your payment card, to obtain an initial payment card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

All product names, product images, copy, website graphics & buttons are copyright of Uniform Additions Ltd. No unauthorised use of copy, product tiles or product images may be used without our express written permission.

Governing law
These terms are governed by English law. This means a contract for the purchase of products through our website and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you live in Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland and, if you live in Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
